The Salon and Spa programs at Sandusky Career Center are approved by the Health Department, Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, Ohio Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.  Programs are offered on the campus of Sandusky High School and feature a completely updated salon lab area, facial room and classroom.

Student Salon - Open to the Public
Our Student Salon is located in Sandusky High School, Room 317 and is open to the public.  All services are performed by students under the supervision of instructors.  The public is encouraged and welcome.  Our students need real experience and are excited to service you!

Entrance is at the rear of SHS in the newer addition, just off the rear parking lot. Parking at the rear of the high school off Perkins Ave. 

Services are provided at greatly reduced rates compared to retail prices.  This is a learning salon, please expect services to take longer than you would expect in a retail salon, as our students are supervised during your service.

Salon Hours: 
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 3:00 pm - 6:15 pm
Walk-ins only, no appointments
(Please arrive by 5:30 for a chemical service)

Salon Services:
Chemical: color, permanents, and relaxers
Styling: cuts, braids, roller sets, and up-dos
Other: waxing, manicures, pedicures, and relaxation massages
Full Time Programs
Certification Courses
Upon successful completion of the Cosmetology program, students qualify for 20 semester credit hours toward an Associate Degree in Technical Studies at Terra Community College.
