Sgt. Ron Snyder of the Sandusky Police Department conducted “Verbal Judo” training for Sandusky's bus drivers and aides on Thursday, January 12, 2012. This tactical communications program is designed for defusing conflict and redirecting behaviors with words. Originally designed in 1983 by Dr. Ron Thompson for police and security professionals, the practice is now commonly used in schools and businesses.
