Welcome Students, Parents, Community Members, Friends, Teachers and Staff to the Sandusky City Schools website!

We thank you for your interest in our school district and the many opportunities available for students and adult learners. We are excited about the new Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan process included a diverse committee representing all areas of the community. The committee discussed and agreed upon a list of core values that led the way to the development of strategic priorities. The committee work spanned six months in crafting a five year plan.

Goals and objectives are now in place setting our future course. A new vision and mission statement have been adopted as part of the new direction. Action steps will now be written with measurable goals culminating with district resources being directed to accomplishing the goals.

All parents have hopes and dreams for their child’s future. As a district, we must ensure that each and every student receives the educational program that meet their learning needs, as well as community expectations. We believe the Strategic Plan sets that direction for continuous improvement in meeting and exceeding those expectations.

The Board of Education and I encourage you to become involved and partner with us to fulfill the mission and goals of the district for the sake of our children. Have a great year!
