A College Credit Plus Night will be offered from 6-7 pm on Thursday, March 21, in Room 300. This session is for parents with children in grades 7-11 who are interested in being admitted to the CCP program. Students who are not yet in high school must qualify for the CCP program by taking the Accuplacer exam.If interested, middle school students are encouraged to call 419-372-0886 to schedule the Accuplacer Reading exam. High school students with less than a 3.0 GPA also must schedule an appointment to take the Accuplacer Reading exam. High school students with at least a 3.0 GPA or higher are admitted into the CCP program once they have completed the online application to BGSU Firelands at bgsu.edu/firelands/apply and their transcripts are sent to the college.Anyone with questions should call Dr. Richard Koonce, the college and career readiness advisor/coach at 419-984-1085 for more information.

Hello Blue Streak Families,We want to inform you that you will be receiving second-quarter grade cards one week later than expected due to the inclement weather days this week. Extending the report card window will allow additional time for students to turn in any necessary work and completion of final semester grades. The third quarter/second semester will still begin on Monday, January 22nd. Report Cards will be mailed to families beginning February 2nd. As a reminder, families can access student grades at any time on ProgressBook. If you have any questions or need assistance accessing ProgressBook, please contact your child's school building.

The new Sandusky Aquatic Center is an amazing opportunity for our community for recreation and aquatic health classes as well as swimming lessons and water safety skills. The district is committed to three core values of the project: promoting district aquatic programs, providing community programming, and providing swim lessons and water safety.Key Notes:• The SHS rear parking lot will be partially closed during the Sandusky Aquatic Center construction, impacting the number of available spaces.• Timeline for construction: 8/1/2023 - 12/2024• Athletic & Brass Lantern entrances/exits will not be impacted.• Parent drop-off/pick-up and Bus drop-off/pick-up will remain unaffected at this time.• We appreciate the patience of all staff, students, families, and visitors during the construction process.
