Job Placement Services
Job seeking skills, resume writing and interview techniques are part of the full-time adult education programs. The Sandusky Career Center Adult Education Counselor, as well as program coordinators, are available for assistance in job placement.

Job Placement Rates
The average placement rate for Sandusky Career Center’s full-time programs is 67%. Further placement date is available through each program coordinator.

Testing Center
The Sandusky Career Center is authorized to offer exams from the following sponsors, as well as many others. Please call us to determine if we can help you with your certification testing needs.

Microsoft® Office - The Microsoft® Certified Application Specialist exam demonstrates that you are technically skilled in the use of Office applications.

National Center for Competency Testing - The National Center for Competency is a company of professional educators who are committed to providing the highest quality certification examination in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. We are an independent third-party testing agency. Our loyalty is toward promoting professionalism, protecting the public, raising the standards of education and curriculum, and enhancing the success of the candidates who successfully master our certifications. NCCT also supports national skill standards for allied health professionals who have developed and disseminated information to various education facilities promoting National Skills Standards Board (NSSB). Pearson VUE - Deliver exams for the Ohio Department of Insurance, The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, Cisco, Sun Microsystems-SAI, CompTIA, IBM, NCLEX, American Medical Technologists, The American College, NASD, Siemens, SCP, IIA, Siebel Systems and many other testing programs. To find out which exams are available at our location visit the PearsonVUE website. Fees vary based on exam.

WorkKeys®- The WorkKeys® systems is a national program which assists individuals, educators, and employers. The system includes assessments that measure generalizable workplace skills, job profiles that help employers identify the skills required by jobs, and instructional support which provides a starting point for educators who want to include WorkKeys® skills in their classes and training programs.
