Ohio’s Guidelines for Effective School Library Media Programs are the basis for managing a school library media center, building a resource collection that is mapped to the curriculum, and delivering literacy/library programming. Our libraries foster a love of reading and define the essential information literacy, technology literacy, and media literacy skills instruction necessary to provide our students, kindergarten through grade 12, with high-quality library programs that reinforce Ohio’s academic standards.
