Accreditation
The North Central Association of Commission for Accreditation and School Improvement and the Ohio Board of Regents accredit the Sandusky Career Center of Sandusky City Schools.
Class Confirmation and Enrollment
Registration is confirmed by your tuition payment. Each class has a minimum and maximum number of participants. The Sandusky Career Center reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, up to the day a class is to begin. A full refund will be given if a class is canceled.
Statement of Nondiscrimination
The Board's policy of nondiscrimination extends to students, staff, job applicants, the general public, and individuals with whom it does business and applies to race, color, national origin, citizenship status, religion, sex, economic status, age, disability, or military status.
Golden Buckeye Card Holders
A 25% discount on special interest classes is available to the holder of a Golden Buckeye Card. You must present the card at registration. We cannot combine discounts.
Parking
Parking at the 2130 Hayes Ave location (Sandusky High School) is available in the front, side, and rear (off Perkins Ave.) lots for evening programs. Daytime program students will be assigned a specific parking area. Parking for programs located at 407 Decatur Street is limited and students are advised to follow street and parking signs. Additional parking is available in the city parking garage located at Columbus Ave. and Market St., or city lot at Jackson St. and Market St.
Special Interest Classes Refund Policy
A full refund will be given if a class is canceled by the Sandusky Career Center. If a student withdraws prior to the start of the second meeting of class, a $10 processing fee will be withheld from the refund. No refund will be given after the second meeting of class. For all other classes and programs, please contact the office for refund policy information.
School Closings
Listen to WLEC 1450 AM and WCPZ 102.7 FM radio stations for school closings. If school has not been during the day due to weather, evening classes will not be held.
