Purpose: For purpose of scholarships awarded to SHS
graduates who are enrolled in a post-secondary educational program, who have
the ability to undertake and complete such education, and who are in need of
financial assistance to pursue their program.
Such awards shall be on an annual basis and for such period or periods
of years at the discretion and determination of the Board of Education.
Limits: Awards made from accumulated interest. If, in any given year, no student applies to
receive this scholarship, then income shall be accumulated and applied to
future scholarships. Amounts of any
scholarship award shall be at the complete discretion of the Board of
Education.
Note: original value of stock estate given: $3,433,530.71

Purpose: Grants made annually when, in the opinion of
the committee, a graduating senior, applying through the SHS Scholarship Fund,
has met the following requirements:
accepted into institution of higher learning, enrolled with major of
Education in that institution, shall have shown exemplary citizenship,
leadership in student activities, and good moral character.
Limits: Awards made from accumulated interest. If no student qualifies to receive award,
designated monies retained as principal.
Any disposition of principal shall
be initiated by the Ziemke family or their agent. (Open for contributions.)
Responsibility: Committee composed of SHS Principal,
Assistant Principal, Counselors, Representative from Campbell School Staff, and
Mrs. Howard Ziemke or her designate, should she desire a seat.
