WEATHER ALERTS
Forecasting the weather for school closures is not an easy task. Sandusky City Schools’ officials put a lot of effort into preparing a decision when determining whether to keep schools on schedule, start late, or close schools due to inclement weather conditions.  [...click for more]
PROPOSED WIND TURBINE PROJECT

The Sandusky City Schools is considering the installation of a wind turbine to offset electric costs. Public input is currently being solicited and a community input session will be held on February 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 300 of the Sandusky High School.

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES
On February 8, 2010, the Sandusky Board of Education recognized three students who recently completed their graduation requirements.  Deonne Baker, Dominique Goodwin and Jolene Simmons earned their diplomas and are now Sandusky High School graduates.

NORTH POINT DIGITAL ACADEMY
The North Point Educational Service Center has created the North Point Digital Academy to offer a unique and innovative educational opportunity for area school districts and their students.  Participants remain students of their home school districts while completing coursework online.  The program allows students access to over 250 online courses which enables them to earn credit towards graduation.  Students may opt to take one or more courses through this initiative.  [...click for more]
