October is National Bullying Prevention Month and the goal is to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of bullying on all children of all ages. While the entire Sandusky City Schools district works hard every single day to ensure that students accelerate academically, the safety and well-being of our students is a top priority. Bullying and cyberbullying affect a student’s ability to focus on learning and to succeed in the classroom and beyond. These inappropriate behaviors are a concern to all of us who work with students on a daily basis. Recent events in the news remind us of the tragic impact that this harassment can have on students. Below you will find important terms and resources that are available to educators, parents and students to enhance students’ experiences at Sandusky City Schools. We have a zero tolerance for bullying and all incidents should be reported to the principals, counselors, and/or the school resource officer.
